Westminster has up until very recently refused ceremonies for same sex marriages due to the religious nature of the chapel, but the
BBC announced at the end of march that an MP and his partner have become the first couple to enter a civil partnership within the walls of Westminster's chapel.
Is this another real step towards acceptance of civil marriages or is it 'too little too late'?
Civil partnerships have been legal in the UK since 2004.
